How long does a merchant have to respond to a dispute?

Timelines will depend on the dispute type according to the following timelines:

  • Chargeback disputes: 5 calendar days from email notification
  • Request for Information (RFI's): 5 calendar days from email notification
  • PayPal Disputes: 20 calendar days from email notification
  • PayPal Claims: 10 calendar days from email notification
